Quality of Care:

As a staff member of a CBC or CMO who interacts regularly with children in care, caregivers and providers, you may have some concerns about the quality of care that are behavioral or medical in natureor issues that may compromise patient safety. In this training you will learn what those identifiers are as well as who to contact if you have concerns that arise.

Fraud, Waste and Abuse:

An Attestation of Medicaid Fraud, Waste and Abuse (FWA) Training is required for professionals who work with children/clients who are receiving Medicaid. You play a vital role in preventing, detecting, and reporting these issues and in this training you will learn the statutory requirements, the laws and penalties as well has how to prevent, detect and report fraud, waste and abuse in the system.

Compliance Program:

This training is an overview for all involved in the coordination of the Community Based Care (CBC) Compliance Program, to ensure standards are enforced on the service and delivery of the Child Welfare Sunshine Health Plan. Through written policies and procedures, the Community Based Care Integrated Health (CBCIH) compliance program committee has disciplinary guidelines and a code of conduct that is enforced by directly monitoring the lead Community Based Care Agency for each region quarterly.
